AISCT Arena

Wildetecture is excited to announce that we're now in the development phase of a transformative new project at the American International School of Cape Town (AISCT): the alteration and conversion of their existing basketball arena into a state-of-the-art indoor multi-purpose arena, seamlessly adjoined by a dedicated creative studio annex.

Building on our successful collaboration with AISCT—following the completion and opening of their landmark Aquatics Centre—this next chapter elevates the school's sports and creative facilities. The design reimagines the current arena with enhanced functionality for competitive basketball, volleyball, indoor events, and flexible community use, while integrating Wildetecture's signature bold, organic aesthetic.

Key features include dynamic structural enhancements and natural lighting to create an inspiring, high-energy playing environment; advanced ventilation and climate control tailored for intense indoor sports; an adjoining creative studio annex—a sculptural, light-filled space fostering art, design, maker activities, and interdisciplinary learning; and sustainable elements like energy-efficient systems and harmonious integration with the Constantia Hills landscape and Table Mountain backdrop.

This project continues our commitment to purposeful, boundary-pushing architecture that supports education, wellness, and creativity—turning functional spaces into unforgettable, future-focused experiences for students and the wider community, imbued with a wild, perceived kinetic energy.
